Q: What age is LittleFixers™ suitable for?
A: LittleFixers™ is perfect for kids aged 3 to 10 years old. It’s amazing for younger creative minds who love hands-on play, building, and exploring how things fit together.
However, the kits do include small pieces which may pose a choking hazard for very young children. Because of this, LittleFixers™ is not recommended for children under 3, and we strongly suggest parental supervision for younger kids to ensure safe and enjoyable play.
Q: How does LittleFixers™ support cognitive development?
A: LittleFixers™ is designed to strengthen a child’s cognitive skills through fun, hands-on play. As kids choose pieces, align holes, tighten screws, and follow patterns, they naturally develop problem-solving abilities, spatial awareness, logical thinking, and early engineering skills. Each build encourages them to plan, test, adjust, and try again — strengthening memory, concentration, and sequential thinking.
Because kids must use both hands and coordinate their movements, LittleFixers™ also supports fine motor development and hand–eye coordination.
Q: Does the electric drill come with the kit?
The electric drill is included only in the larger 152-piece LittleFixers™ set. The smaller 60-piece set does not come with a drill, making it ideal for younger kids or simpler builds.
The drill in the 152-piece kit is battery-powered, kid-safe, and designed with low torque so it won’t pinch fingers. It adds an exciting, realistic building experience while still being perfectly safe for supervised play.
